For an easy weeknight pasta dish that’s fuss free and flavorful, you have to check out this baked feta pasta with bursting cherry tomatoes. The dish is pretty much hands-off, and all the magic happens in the oven. Made with just a handful of ingredients, it’s no wonder this dish went viral in Finland and is now called Tik Tok Pasta!

This is probably one of the easiest pasta dishes you can make – with even the sauce which forms the base for this pasta getting done in your oven. The only stove top cooking you need to do it to boil the pasta. Rest everything happens in your baking dish in the oven.

Cherry tomatoes and feta cheese gives this pasta just the right amount of creaminess and tartness. A dish best enjoyed when hot out of the oven! It surely will be a hit with everyone who tastes it. And for the hard core non vegetarians, you can always toss in some cooked meat!

The viral tiktok pasta which is probably one of the easiest-to-make pasta you would have come across!

Ingredients

  • Cherry Tomatoes – 250 gms

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 3 tbsp+1 tsp

  • Salt – 1/8 tsp

  • Pepper – ¼ tsp

  • Garlic – 4-5 cloves, chopped fine

  • Feta Cheese – 100 gms

  • Chilli Flakes – ¼ tsp

  • Fresh Basil Leaves – 15-20, chopped

  • Pasta – 125 gms

Directions

  • Preheat the oven at 200C for 15 min. Boil the pasta as per the instructions on the package to al-dente. Drain and reserve some of the pasta water.
  • Add the cherry tomatoes into your baking dish. Into this, add the olive oil, salt, pepper and half of the chopped garlic and toss it well.
  • Move the tomatoes towards the sides of the dish and place the block of feta cheese in the centre. Drizzle a tsp of olive oil on top of the feta cheese and sprinkle some chilli flakes.
  • Bake this in the pre-heated oven at 200C for 30-35 min till the tomatoes are cooked and their skin starts splitting. Take it out of the oven and add the remaining chopped garlic and basil leaves and mix it well, mashing up the tomatoes to make a creamy sauce.
  • Add the cooked pasta along with some pasta water to the tomato-feta sauce and mix well. Serve this hot.
  • You can garnish with some basil leaves while serving.
