Ingredients

  • Eggs – 2

  • Milk – 1/2 cup

  • Sugar – 2 tbsp

  • Instant Coffee – 1 tsp

  • Vanilla Essence – 1/4 tsp

  • Bread Slices – 4

  • Chocolate Chips – 2-3 tbsp

Directions

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, instant coffee and vanilla essence.
  • Dip one side of a bread piece and place some chocolate pieces on top of it. Dip one side of another piece of bread and place it on the chocolate pieces with the dipped side down.
  • Now dip the full sandwich back in the milk mixture to coat the other sides.
  • Heat some butter in a pan and cook the sandwiches till golden-brown on both sides.
  • Serve hot.
  • You can sprinkle some cocoa powder or castor sugar on top and serve these with some honey or maple syrup.
