Kadha – a drink known for its ability to boost immunity, alleviate common ailments, and promote overall well-being.


  • Peppercorn – 1 tsp

  • Cinnamon – ½-inch piece

  • Cloves – 2

  • Ginger – ½-inch piece

  • Water – 2 cups

  • Tulsi Leaves – 4-5

  • Honey – as per taste


  • In a mortar-pestle, crush together peppercorn, cinnamon, cloves and ginger.
  • Heat 2 cups of water and add the crushed spices to this along with tulsi leaves.
  • Let it all boil together till the water reduces and all flavours are well-infused.
  • Strain it into cups and add honey as per taste. Consume hot!
