Making something interesting for our kid’s school tiffin box or serving them something yummy when they come home hungry in the evening is always on the top of our minds. And we keep looking for recipes that can add variety and create some interest among our fuzzy eaters. These Pizza Pasta Sticks combines pizza and pasta into one dish which you can customize as per your choice. This is a great snack to put together if you have some boiled pasta in your refrigerator and do not want to make another pasta dish in the same week.

If you have some homemade pizza sauce ready, then please use that for this recipe. If you are looking for a good recipe, then I have you covered too – please check out my homemade pizza sauce recipe. You can make a batch of this, keep it refrigerated and use it when you need. You can also use store bought pizza sauce or just tomato ketchup as well. As far as toppings go, if you little ones are a fan of Margherita Pizza, then all you need is the pizza sauce, some cheese and some pizza or pasta seasoning. But then who is stopping you from hiding some vegetables and meat under that layer of cheese..;)

These pizza pasta sticks are held together using toothpicks, but sometimes when I am lazy, I just spread an even layer of boiled pasta on my baking tray, put some pizza sauce on top, add my toppings and cheese and bake it. Then slice it and give it to the kids. So that is another way to serve these as well, though it does become a little messy for the kids.
