This Herbal Tea recipe is an easy one to make and uses Fennel Seeds, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger, Mint Leaves, Jaggery Powder for sweetening and some Lemon Juice.

Ingredients

  • Herbal Tea

  • Water – 2 cups

  • Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp

  • Cardamom – 2

  • Cinnamon – 1/2-inch stick

  • Ginger – 1/2-inch piece

  • Mint Leaves – a few

  • Jaggery Powder – 1 tsp (optional)

  • Lemon Juice – from half a lemon

Directions

  • Crush together the fennel seeds, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. Add this to boiling water along with mint leaves.
  • Once the spices steep in the water well and the water reduces a little, turn off the heat.
  • Add jaggery powder and lemon juice.
  • Strain to a glass and have it hot.
