Milkshakes are my go-to option when kids come back from school and want something different from their usual glass of Bournvita Milk. This healthy dates and cashew milkshake is a filling drink which you can serve the kids as soon as they come back from school. If they have another class or activity to rush to, this milkshake will give them the needed energy too.
You can replace the dairy milk with any non-dairy milk, in case of allergies or for a vegan option, and skip the sugar too in this recipe. Since it uses cashews, this won’t be suitable for someone with nut allergies.

Ingredients
Dates – 100 gms, deseeded
Sugar – 2 tsp (optional)
Cashews – 8-10
Ice – 3-4 cubes
Milk – 1 cup
Directions
- Into the blender jar, add dates, sugar, cashews and ice and blend well.
- To this, add the milk and blend again. Pour into a serving glass and serve.
