Sulaimani Tea, also known as the Malabar Spiced Tea, is a drink from North Kerala. It is a black tea which is flavoured with spices and lemon and served without any milk. Sulaimani Tea was made famous with it’s mention in the Malayalam movie Ustaad Hotel.

Sulaimani is essentially a spiced lemon tea which is great to have after a heavy meal. It is often served after meals in Kerala. Since it is lightly spiced and served steaming hot, it is also a great drink to have during the winter season.

Sulaimani Tea is one of my favourite beverages to have post meals when we are eating out!
