I love to have a couple of chicken starter recipes handy. This is one meat which everyone at home eats without a fuss and I can serve it as a starter or as a side dish, as needed. And if at all there are leftovers, they also make a great filling for sandwiches and rolls.

What I love about this Hariyali Chicken Tikka recipe is that the marinade for this can be prepared really easily in the mixie. If I have to make this for lunch or dinner, I prepare the marinade early morning and marinate the chicken and keep it refrigerated. Sometimes, we prefer to skip carbs for dinner. So I make these Hariyali Chicken Tikkas which we have along with a salad and the same also goes as a filling in a roll for the kids. So dinner for the entire family is taken care of with very little prep work!

These tikkas taste a lot like the coriander-mint chutney as those are the main ingredients in the marinade. So instead of serving this with more green chutney, you can always serve it with a hung curd dip, which compliments this perfectly.
