Directions

  • In a pan, add some oil. Once the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds and let it splutter. To this, add the ginger and green chilli and fry till fragrant. Next, add the chopped beans, green peas, coriander leaves and some salt and cook it till the beans and peas are tender. To this, add the chaat masala and garam masala powder and mix well. Finally, add the spinach leaves and cover and cook for 10-15 sec till the spinach wilts. Cook till the spinach is cooked, but there is still some moisture left. Let this cool down and then grind it to a semi-coarse paste. To this blended paste, add the mashed potatoes, gram flour and bread crumbs and mix well. Add salt, if needed. Divide the mixture into 8 portions and then roll each portion in a small ball then flatten it slightly. Place a piece of cashew half on each kabab. Add some oil in a pan and pan fry the kababs on both sides till a golden-brown color. Serve hot with some chutney.
