Do your kids love milkshakes? There are so many different variants of milkshakes we can prepare for them – some healthy and some “not so” healthy as well! A typical day for my kids start with a glass of warm bournvita milk. And when they were younger, there would be a glass of bournvita milk waiting for them when they came back from school late afternoon as well. But as they grew older, they wanted to have something different in the evenings atleast.
I still prefer giving them a milk based drink in the evening, just to make sure they have 2 glasses of milk everyday. Once I tried making a cold bournvita milkshake instead of their usual glass of warm bournvita and they loved it. So now, I make this for them atleast once a week when they are back from school.
Milkshakes and smoothies are a great option to serve your kids when they come back hungry from school. It fills them instantly and also gives you some time to prepare a hot snack for them. Sometimes, they have to rush out for another class as soon as they come back from school and do not have the time to sit down and eat a snack. At such times, milkshakes and smoothies are a great option for them to have quickly and recharge themselves for the next activity!
