This is one of those forgiving recipes that allows you to go different ways based on your preferences or what you have on hand — like swapping out the almond for cashew , or excluding the nut/ seed altogether for a slightly lighter version.
Blueberry And Sweet Basil Milkshake

Ingredients
Basil Seeds – 2 tsp
Water – ½ cup
Milk – 1.5 cups
Blueberries – 125 gms
Honey – 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence – ¼ tsp
Almonds – 5
Salt – a pinch
Ice – a few cubes
Directions
- Soak the basil seeds in water for 5-10 min till they soak up all the water and become jelly like. Into a blender jar, add the milk, blueberries, honey, vanilla essence and almonds and blend well. To this, add the salt and ice and blend again.
- Into two serving glasses, divide the soaked basil seeds.
- Add the milkshake on top and mix well.
- Serve cold, garnished with more blueberries.
