Now coming to basil seed pudding, it’s so easy to make and can have it as breakfast or as quick snack . Basil seed takes a couple of minutes to bloom, so once you have soaked them and they have bloomed, this pudding can be made in minutes. Now let’s check out how to make this super easy basil seed mango pudding.

This no-cook mango pudding is high in proteins due to the use of greek yogurt. You can also add some freshly chopped mango pieces and even some more mango puree and skip the honey or any sweetener all together. So when mangoes are in season, there is no reason why you should not try out this super easy and healthy mango pudding!

A delicious and healthy mango and basil seeds pudding!

Ingredients

  • Basil Seeds – ¼ cup

  • Water – 1 cup

  • Greek Yoghurt – 1 cup

  • Mango Puree/Pulp/Crush – ¼ cup

  • Cashews – 2 tbsp, chopped

  • Almonds – 2 tbsp, chopped

  • Honey – 1-2 tbsp

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix together the basil seeds and water and keep it aside till the basil seeds soak up the water and become jelly like. In another bowl, mix together the Greek yoghurt and mango puree/pulp/crush and keep it aside.
  • In your serving bowl or cup, first add a little of the soaked basil seeds, followed by the yoghurt. Sprinkle some chopped nuts on top and then again repeat the three layers.
  • Finally, drizzle some honey on top and refrigerate. Serve cold.
