When we think of recipes using fruits, it is mostly desserts which come to our mind. But there are some great savouries – especially salads and starters that can be made using fruits. For Feb 2021, the theme on my channel has been strawberries. Hence, all my Thursday recipes feature strawberry as an ingredient. So, of course, there have been strawberry based desserts shared already. But I wanted to end the month with a savoury dish using strawberries and something that was easy too. And a salsa using strawberries just seemed like the right option.
This strawberry salsa is a single bowl recipe and you can vary the ingredient quantities as per your taste too. I have kept it mildly spicy, so it goes great with plain nachos and chips. You can reduce the jalapenos in the recipe to decrease the spice factor.
