
Mexican Hot Chocolate
Hot Chocolate is probably one of the most searched for winter drink recipes. And we will find so many different variations of hot chocolate – the classic one probably tops the list for all. This Mexican Hot Chocolate is a slightly spicy variation of the classic recipe.
You can top your Mexican Hot Chocolate with marshmallows or whipped cream and even some chilli powder for that extra kick. The hot and spicy combination definitely will be loved by those who like that extra zing in their drinks..;)

minutesA really easy Hot Chocolate recipe with an extra kick from the chilli powder!
Ingredients
Hot milk – 1 cup
Cocoa Powder – 1 tbsp
Instant Coffee Powder – 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Cinnamon Powder – 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder – a pinch
Salt – a pinch
Marshmallows, Chilli Powder and Grated Nutmeg for sprinkling on top
Directions
- Add hot milk, cocoa powder, coffee powder, sugar, cinnamon powder, chilli powder and salt in a mixie jar and blend it till frothy.
- Pour this into your serving glass. Top it up with some marshmallows and sprinkle some chilli powder and grated nutmeg on top and serve.
