Ingredients
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Cashews – 8-10 nos
Raisins – 8-10 nos
Carrot – 1 cup, grated
Full Fat Milk – 2 cups
Condensed Milk – ¼ cup
Khova – 2 tbsp
Sugar – 2-4 tbsp (adjust as per taste)
Cardamom Powder – ¼ tsp
Directions
- Heat ghee in a kadai and fry the cashews and raisins. Remove them from the ghee and in the same pan in the remaining ghee, add the grated carrots. Saute it for a couple of minutes till the carrot is fragrant. To this, add the milk and cook it together till the carrot is cooked through.
- Add condensed milk and khova and cook it for another couple of minutes till the kheer is creamy. Add sugar to this and mix well.
- Finally, add the cardamom powder, mix it and turn off the heat. Garnish with fried cashews and raisins and serve hot or cold.
