A cool and freshly made drink is all you need to feel energized. This drink called Gud Ka Sharbat or Jaggery Juice is made using very few ingredients. It has the goodness of jaggery and chia seeds and certainly leaves you feeling full of energy on a hot day!

A refreshing drink for the summer season!

Ingredients

  • Sabja Seeds – ½ tbsp

  • Water for sabja seeds – ¼ cup

  • Grated or Powdered Jaggery – ½ cup (about 75 gms)

  • Water for jaggery – ¾ cup

  • Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp (adjust as per taste)

  • Ice cubes

  • Water – 2-3 cups (as needed)

Step by Step Process

  • Add sabja seeds to ¼ cup water and let it sit for a couple of minutes till the seeds absorb the water and swell up.
  • Add water to the jaggery and mix it well till it dissolves properly.
  • To this, add the lemon juice and sabja seeds and mix well.
  • Add ice cubes and more water to adjust the taste. Serve this cold.
