Raw Mango Juice

Come summer and we are on a constant search for refreshing drinks that we can have. Fresh juices are always a better option that the canned or tinned ones. There is a very famous Indian drink called “Aam Panna”, which is made by boiling raw mangoes, extracting the pulp of that and then adding sugar and seasonings to it. Sometimes, I just feel lazy to go through the process of boiling mangoes and extracting the pulp. So this recipe is an easier and quicker version that you can prepare which tastes almost like Aam Panna.

A quick and easy thirst quencher during summer!

Ingredients

  • Raw Mango, chopped – 1 cup

  • Sugar – 3-4 tbsp (adjust as per sweetness needed)

  • Water – ½ cup

  • Black Salt – ¾ tsp

  • Cumin Powder – ½ tsp

  • Pepper Powder – ½ tsp

  • Water – 1.5-2 cups (adjust as per taste and consistency)

  • Ice cubes – a few

Directions

  • Blend together the raw mango, sugar and water first in a blender jar.
  • Once this is blended smooth, add the black salt, cumin powder, pepper powder and water along with a few ice cubes and blend again.
  • Serve this cold.
