Hyderabadi Fruit Chaat is another quick and easy recipe. What I have loved about some of the chaat recipes from Hyderabad is that how they have kept the flavours really simple. And when you see that it is so easy to make, you are tempted to attempt it too.

Since there is not too many seasonings added to this fruit chaat, it actually brings out the taste of all the fruits added. The choice of fruits used is personal and you can add whatever you have at hand.

I like to refrigerate this and serve it cold. So a great snack for the hot summer months too. Do check out my other Iftar recipes too.

A delicious fruit chaat from Hyderabad!

Ingredients

  • Apple – 1, chopped

  • Pomegranate – 1/4 cup

  • Banana – 1, chopped

  • Green/black grapes – 1/4 cup, halved

  • Guava – 1, chopped

  • Orange – 1, peeled, deseeded and chopped

  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp

  • Sugar – 2 tbsp

  • Salt – as per taste

  • Black pepper powder – as per taste

Step by Step Process

  • Add all the chopped fruits along with the lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Add sugar, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Serve this immediately or refrigerate and serve cold.
